Supplementary report of the Southborough Water Supply Committee including correspondence from the State Board of Health and its Chief Engineer. The report relates to "a proposed piping system and standpipe for supplying the four principal villages of the town with water to be taken from the ground on the south side of the Worcester turnpike about half a mile west of the village of Fayville, and on the southerly side of the Sudbury Reservoir of the Metropolitan Water Works".

Information includes: date of fire, class of building(s) (whether wood, brick, or stone), how the structure was occupied (whether used for a store, dwelling, barn, manufactory, etc.), name of the owner, name of the occupant, value of the building, total extent of damage, amount paid by insurance, cause of the fire, and remarks by the fire marshal regarding it's circumstances.
