Scope and Contents
Petitions made to the Overseers for aid and relief, correspondence and memos regarding the disposition of paupers, updates on their care, and the names of their benefactors. Records of payments and reimbursements from the selectmen and overseers of the poor for the care of said individuals is also included.
V.1 is divided into 5 sections:

Preservation Actions
This volume underwent conservation treatment in October 2009 at Brown’s River Records Preservation Services in Essex, Vermont (now Kofile Inc.).
Treatment Summary:
Book dismantled and binding materials removed. Gross tears mended with Japanese tissue or Crompton heat set tissue. Paper deacidified using magnesium oxide. Sheets encapsulated in archival grade polyester envelopes. Envelopes bound in two record binders.
