Preservation Actions

This volume underwent conservation treatment in November 2008 at Brown’s River Records Preservation Services in Essex, Vermont (now Kofile Inc.).

Treatment Summary: Paper flattened and deacidified using magnesium oxide. Gross tears mended with Japanese tissue. Sheets encapsulated in archival grade polyester envelopes. Envelopes bound in record binder.

Location

The book was disassembled and post-bound in mylar sleeves with a number of town vital record books. It can be found inside the volume of Birth, Marriage and Death records that covers 1782-1863.
